When Ricky and I moved to NYC, we found that it was easier to sell everything and start over. We have been subleasing an apartment and will be moving into our permanent place in January. I can’t wait to decorate and make it our own. In the mean time, I’ve been stalking Anthropologie. And want everything.
Sorry I’ve been MIA over the last week, but some crazy things have happened and I’ve been really busy as a result. I’ll tell you more about that at a later date. Onto today’s post… I am always looking for ways to decorate on a dime and I have seen some really cool ideas on Pinterest
that I want to share. I’d like to know who was creative enough to think of using pallets. One day I’m going to have a brilliant idea like this.
This technically isn’t a pallet, but it could be an easy DIY project involving one! You can buy this on Etsy.
Pallet furniture? Yes, please!

Seville, Spain will forever be my home away from home. I love this place and miss something about it everyday. I didn’t realize how much I truly loved and cherished it until I returned home to Texas after almost 6 months of living in such a beautiful place. Here are just a few of the hundreds of pictures I have. Some of my favorite buildings and things in the city. My apartment, my host mom, the school I taught English at once a week, the Cathedral, random street markets with handmade goods, and of course the beautiful parks and lush greenery everywhere you look! If you ever get the chance to visit Seville… DO. IT.
PS. Check out this awesome video I found!
